The end of science fiction look of video glasses. Discreet 45 grams heavy sunglass style Teleglass T4-N video glasses also featuring headphones are moving the boundaries. Now you can enjoy watching video while not attracting too much attention. A NTSC video input makes it possible to be used with many audio-video devices such as DVD players, iPods, cameras etc.. VGA image output of 640 (H) ×480 (V) pixels provides the images equivalent to a 45 inch screen located 2 meters away. Focus and scale spacing can be additionally adjusted. Two single 3 dry cell batteries insure approx. 2-4 hours of video.
Teleglass T4-N glasses are avaliable in Japan through a Scalar Corporation website for 134,400 Yen (1007 US dollars or 815 EUR). It is not yet declared when they will be sold in US or Europe.
